I ate lunch at the taqueria on Davie Street,  based on the great Yelp reviews, and it was NOT disappointing! It was Taco Tuesday, so the kind server informed me that six tacos were  $9.99. I said, “I can’t eat that many!” But I did.

and went for a walk in impressively “green” Vancouver, with Eco Share cars,  a plethora of bicyclists in inclement weather (like Portland) and billboards proclaiming Vancouver’s green pride.

I ended the day with dinner at Score, a sports bar. The 30ish bartender ran my credit card and said, “How many states away is Idaho?”  It surprised me that he didn’t know, and then I thought, “Does Idaho border completely on British Columbia, or partly on Alberta?”
